Description

A wonderful old pair of authentic, Spanish Colonial, wood and iron stirrups.  Each is hand carved in a traditional boot shape with the end grain at the boot toe, and are carved for decoration.  They are not an exact match, but appear to have been together since their period of use, as they show the same age, and weathering.  To compensate for wood shrinkage, one stirrup has two pieces of old leather to act as shims between the strap and wood.

Overall Length: Approx. 7.5″
