Description
A Southerner Deringer made by the Brown Mfg. Co.. These little deringers were made from 1866 to 1873. The frame is brass and the grips are rosewood. The left side of the barrel is stamped with the maker’s name and patent date. The top flat of the barrel is stamped “SOUTHERNER”, and the serial number is stamped on the bottom of the butt strap.

Condition: Barrel is a medium grey color – Brass has a very nice dark mustard colored age patina – Grips have only very minor marks – Action is very good with a strong mainspring – Bore is good
