Description
An antique Mexican sword scabbard. It is made from a good quality leather, elaborately embroidered with piteado, cactus fiber, thread. The leather, under the embroidery, is tooled with a stippled background. It probably dates to the Mexican Revolution period. It appears to fit a straight blade sword with a 22-24″ blade.

Condition: Solid with some wear and oil staining – Tassel a bit dry, with some losses – Only one 1/2″ area of embroidery loss on shaft of scabbard
