Description
A James Reid Knuckle Duster, 5 shot, revolver. The brass frame is decorated with broad scroll factory engraving. On the left edge of the top strap is stamped “MY FRIEND PAT’D. DEC. 26,1865. The external serial number is stamped, in the brass frame, just below the trigger. The serial numbered parts match, including the cylinder pin.

Condition: Brass is smooth with a medium mustard color patina with traces of its original silver plating – Cylinder is a grey metal with scattered minor pitting – Action is crisp and works perfectly with a strong mainspring
