Description
An all original, 17th century, European or German wheellock or matchlock, stag antler, gun powder flask. All of the fittings are hand forged iron, with many decorative features, and a belt hook. The front of the antler fork is very nicely carved with two scantily clad Roman or Greek wrestlers or warriors in close physical combat. The backside of the flask retains its original stag antler texture.

Condition: Stag body has a good age patina with no damage – Iron fittings have a nice grey/brown age patina with some light pitting – Charger mechanisim operates perfectly
