Description

An Ells, 2nd model, pocket size percussion revolver.  The gun has a 5 shot cylinder and an octagon barrel.  The front sight is a brass cone, and the rear sight is a groove in the top frame strap.  It is lightly factory engraved, overall.  The two piece grips are varnished walnut.  The bar hammer is stamped with two Patent dates of 1854 and 1857.  This pistol was previously in the J.M. Davis Memorial Collection in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Condition: Untouched condition with traces of its original blue finish, the balance a nice medium to dark age patina – Cylinder pin release button is missing – Grips are good with only minor marks – Action is crisp – Bore is dark
