Description
A Native American pot by Ergil F. Vallo, Sr.. Half Acomo and half Hopi, he worked in New Mexico, from 1959 to 2005. He primarily specialized in the incised black pottery with rainbow hues. His signature, “Dalawepi”, means “color of the rainbow”. He used natural pollens and minerals to achieve the contrast of his designs. This beautiful pot includes a number of Hopi kachinas, mimbres animals and geometric designs.
