A very nice example of a Colt percussion “Pocket Navy”.  It is a Civil War era revolver, manufactured in 1862.  The top of the barrel is marked “ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK U S AMERICA”.  All the serial numbers match, including the wedge.  The grips are walnut.

Condition: Much original blue and case color remains – Cylinder has a near full scene – Backstrap & triggerguard are a very pleasing, untouched mustard color aged patina with traces of original silver plating on the triggerguard – Grips have minor dings and possibly a repaired crack in the right grip with an old coat of varnish added – Action is tight and crisp
