A very fine Colt Patent Arms Mfg. Co., No. 2 belt model, Paterson, serial number 182. The select, burl, walnut grips have a wonderful figure to them. The gun has a 5 shot, centaur scene cylinder, and is .31 caliber. The barrel is 4.85″ long with a small silver blade sight. This exact pistol is pictured in the Book of Colt Firearms, by Sutherland and Wilson, on page 30, and several other publications. Included with the purchase of this pistol is extensive documentation; outlining the collector history of this Paterson, going back almost 60 years. Some of the previous owners were Charles W. Fritz, Phillip R. Phillips, Norm Flayderman, Robert Sutherland, Alan Kelly and several others.
