Description

A rare, Civil War era, folk art carved wooden cane.  “ATLANTA. GA. 1864.” is carved, in capital letters, in a spiral fashion around its upper portion.  It may be a willow stick with much of its bark still remaining.

Diameter at the Bottom: .48″

 

 Condition: Very nice dark age patina with some losses of finish – Stress cracks at either end are stable
