Description
Original new old stock, U.S. Marine Corps buttons. There are 24 buttons still attached to their original card stock, tissue paper and outer wrapping paper. They are two piece, domed, construction, and gold gilt. The eagle is holding an anchor with 13 stars above its outstretched wings. They were made by, and back marked “HORSTMANN PHILADELPHIA”. These would have been made in 1893, and used during the Spanish American War period.
