A model 1875, 2nd issue, Winchester loading tool, in .44 W.C.F. (Winchester Center Fire) caliber. It is made of cast iron with a solid frame and spoon or dipper type handles. It still retains its decapping pin. It is clearly marked ” PAT OCT 20 1874″ in a two line casting, on the top handle just above the hinge. It is caliber stamped on the side of the top handle.
Overall Length: 8.3″
Condition: Approximately 20% of the original gold paint remains, with the balance a nice dark, untouched, patina – Seems to function correctly
