A nice Colt 1851, fourth model, Navy revolver. It was manufactured during the period of the American Civil War, in 1863. It has the correct walnut grips.

Condition: Barrel retains a high percentage of the original blue finish – Cylinder has a good brown age patina and a full scene – Loading Lever retains strong case colors – Triggerguard and Backstrap both have traces of the original silver plating – Wedge Screw is a replacement,and the Wedge is not numbered – Grips have much of the original varnish, worn thin in some areas, with a few dings, and a chip missing on the lower edge of the right grip – Action is crisp and tight
