Description
A very rare, all original, wheellock spanner wrench / combination tool, dating to the late 16th century. This tool features an integral screwdriver, three spanner sockets and an adjustable sliding powder measure. The tube shaped body or handle forms the container for a measured charge. The charge is regulated by the movement of the measuring rod through a range of notches engaged by the lever. The powder measure tube clearly shows hand forging flaws. It is guaranteed to be real and of the correct period.
